The Putnam County Office of Public Safety, under the direction of Steven J. Odenweller, is an organization established to mitigate, prepare for, respond to, and recover from major threats to lives and property. Through coordination, planning, exercises and proper training, the Office of Public Safety can enhance the day-to-day emergency response capabilities of emergency medical services, heavy rescue and hazardous meterials teams within the county to be prepared for a large-scale disaster. This website is designed to provide the public useful information during times of disaster by viewing our Press Releases, research our service departments throught the use of the Emergency Medical Services, and explore the role of our Emergency Management Agency. Because the nature of our business deals with sensitive information, several areas of this website cannot be viewed without being a registered user. These areas include: Putnam County EMS Protocols and EMS Scheduling. Access will be granted by the web master upon completed registration based on affiliation with Putnam County Safety Services. |
